Private lesson students are charged for all lessons or classes for which they register, including those missed through student absence. As a courtesy, students are
expected to notify their teachers directly of any impending absence from lessons. Some instructors offer make-up lessons undercertain circumstances, but they are not obligated to do so. If a teacher is absent for a lesson, a make-up will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time, or a substitute instructor may teach the lesson.
- Make-up for private lessons are given at
the end of each semester except for
snow closure, make-ups which will be
given in June (see School calendar for
dates)
- Snow closure make-ups are limited to
one day per year and will be made up
during the June make up period.
Students who drop from the school
prior to the June make up period will
forfeit the snow make up date.
- Student absence from group/ensemble
instruction will not be made up.
- Scheduled make-up lessons missed by a
student will not be made up.
