Composition

Composition is the opportunity for the student to use their imagination and develop the capacity to express their emotions with music. Students will learn how the great composers worked and expressed themselves through music and then compose their own examples.

Requirements: Composed pieces will be performed during a CCM recital. At least one piece will be completed each semester. Students must be at least six years old and have completed one year of instrument instruction.
