Summer Strings Experience

July 15 – 19

Ages 5-7 for violin and cello students with no prior experience (parent attendance required)
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
1:00 pm Friday concert

Ages 7-14 (violin, viola, and cello students)
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
3:00 pm Friday concert

Strings students enhance their ensemble skills and build their comprehensive musicianship through a holistic approach in a nurturing environment. Smaller class sizes cultivate a close-knit community and provide opportunity for individualized attention and increased participation.

Strings students of all levels, ages 5-14, will be placed in the appropriate group based on a short placement audition video.

Register by May 10th.

Chamber Music Afternoons

July 15 – 19

Ages 13 – 18
3:30 – 5:45 pm
6:00 pm Friday concert

Intermediate to advanced strings, piano, woodwind, and brass students are encouraged to participate in this student chamber music program. Chamber groups will be guided through the exciting technical and musical challenges of their ensemble repertoire through daily coaching and dedicated rehearsal time. Chamber groups will perform in the concert on Friday.

Chamber group placements will be based on skill level and instrument. Students need to submit a short placement audition video.

Register by May 10th.
